Unique Article Wizard vs. Build My Rank

UPDATE: BUILD MY RANK (BMR) HAS SHUT DOWN.

There are many link building services you can find today in the Internet. Although they promise you huge amount of quality backlinks to your site, helping improve its ranking with search engines, they disclaim that this in effect will guarantee huge profits for your site. Well of course most Internet Marketers will always assume that the bigger the traffic is, the bigger is the potential income for your site. But, still, it will all depend on how the site owner monetizes his website based on the level of his experience.

Most of these link building services are claimed as white hat, what does that mean? We all know the Google hates buying and selling links directly, so it means you have to “work” in order to acquire those precious links and most of them are focused entirely on article marketing which is believed to be a legitimate way to obtain links. So in short you will be required to work by writing an article then you submit it to them in order to obtain your links. But before I continue, I was just wondering, if you could buy articles and use them to acquire links isn’t that also considered buying links? Well, I think that’s none of our business, only Mr. G have the power to evaluate those links if they are good or bad.

We are going to compare and discuss today two link building services, Unique Article Wizard (UAW) and Build My Rank (BMR). As mentioned earlier both of them focuses on article marketing and each of them has a network of websites where your articles will be distributed. And because it deals with article marketing; submitting unique content, it is considered a white hat activity. UAW will create unique versions of your article while the latter, will only accept unique content and not spun articles. We cannot really compare them directly because the UAW is an article submission service while, as far as I can see it, BMR is a guest post submission service. So now let’s discus each one of them briefly.

Unique Article Wizard a Brief Review

UAW claims that it has a network of 15,000+ websites (at the time of this writing) and they will distribute your unique articles throughout out their network. Depending on your chosen category, your articles will only be submitted only to the most relevant sites available, and some blogs will manually review the articles submitted before they post it in their site. There is no guarantee that all your articles will be posted to their targeted websites but most of them will and according to them, your links will stay permanent. Unless of course the site owner other than those owned by UAW will remove the post in the future. Take note that you can add your site to their network if you want to receive unique content so not every site in their network is owned by UAW.

As mentioned above, UAW will create unique versions of your articles which I am not allowed to disclose how UAW do it. They will allow you to place two links after the end of each article submitted. They will then create different versions of your articles and submit it in their network creating a huge amount of backlinks to your site. If you are paranoid about over linking, they have a feature on how many articles will be submitted daily so you can choose how many from 1 to unlimited submissions per day.

Because they will create unique versions of your articles, you can assume that there is a spinning activity involved. This is made in order to avoid the duplicate content controversy. Although some say that spun content will be discredited by search engines in the long run, in my opinion I think not, only search engines can say that, I’ve experienced the results of UAW and it really helps in promoting your site. UAW is a powerful article submission service and many (not only me) will vouch for that.

The price of UAW is $67.00 / month. A bit pricey for a newbie but for a publisher who has several niche sites, maintaining hubs, web pages and is earning at least $5.00 a day from AdSense, then the price is cheap. You could focus more in building niche sites creating new posts and updating them while leaving the link building campaign with UAW. Again, this is not a “sit back and relax service,” you have to write articles minimum of 300 words or you could outsource them (buy links indirectly LOL) and UAW will take care of the rest.

Build My Rank a Brief Review

BMR is also a network of websites but unlike UAW, in my opinion, it is not considered an article submission service, rather a guest post submission service. BMR claims that it has a network of sites having PageRank from 1 to 6 so the quality of backlinks are expected to be higher. Once they approve your article, it will be posted to one of their sites and immediately after publishing it, it will immediately be promoted through RSS feeds and social bookmark sites. This will ensure fast indexing and your link will acquire more link juice because of the links they will stack above it.

BMR allows you to place 1 link per 150 words post and they recommend inserting your link within the post. They don’t accept spun content, so if you are going to submit a spun article, it should be rewritten thoroughly without losing its quality. The links you will acquire are assumed to have quality because they will be coming from sites with PageRank from 1 to 6. This link building service is right for you if you are fond of writing, although they offer writing services for you (again buy links LOL) for $2.00 each.

The price of BMR is $59.00 / month, again a bit pricey for newbies but for experienced Internet Marketers, this is actually cheap compared with other similar services being offered in the market. For those who guest post a lot, you may have encountered how difficult it is to submit articles for high ranking sites in order to acquire quality backlinks, well BMR is the solution. You could obtain the same quality links for a minimal fee.

Conclusion

Using the service of link building service companies is not bad in my opinion. Especially if the web page you would like to rank highly for its targeted keywords will provide useful information to Internet users. After all natural linking occurs because people link to one of your pages because the information contained in it is important to be promoted. You might say it’s unfair because not all webmasters can afford to use link building services. It’s not unfair in my opinion because you could do it manually on your own if you can’t afford it from the beginning. Famous Blogging Guru, Daren Rowse said he never spent anything lavishly in promoting his websites. In his book, he said he was doing 50 posts or more each day promoting and updating his websites when he was just starting. Can you beat that?

So what do I recommend? Well honestly both of them works and I have experienced their results. If you are not skeptic about spun articles then you may use Unique Article Wizard but take note that the quality of websites where your articles will be submitted are not all good. But when it comes to quantity, UAW will surpass most link building service out there. And because they will spin your articles, you won’t need to worry much in writing too many articles to acquire links.

On the other hand, if you are particular with the websites where your articles will be published (PR 1 – 6) then BMR is for you. But take note you have to write one unique article per link. So if writing is your forte then go with this service. So in the long run, acquiring links from high PR sites will boost your sites dramatically. Find out more by reading this comprehensive Build My Rank Review and start promoting your site today.

UPDATE (January 2012): Build My Rank is steadily going strong and continuously raking in kudos and praises from Internet Marketers. They have changed their pricing models; they now have pricing limits to the number of websites that you could promote, the more websites, the more it will cost you. Are you saying that if we submit an article to UAW, UAW will automatically spin it and post the spun articles to relevant blogs in their network?

Yes, UAW will spin your articles and when I say articles you are required to submit more than one article and I think that is all I can say in agreement with their TOS. Although you could search Google on how UAW really works. UAW is good for initial boost and for link diversification purposes, based on my experience and what other link builders have said.

In my opinion, not all links that your article carries will be indexed by search engines and soon they will find a pattern or foot print for that matter that your articles are spun. Therefore before SEs start discrediting your links, you have to submit more articles to UAW in order to replace the links that were discredited to gain your rank. Although I heard that there are also links being discredited by SEs coming from private blog networks. This is the reason why link building is a continuous process.

Unlike in BMR, your articles are unique and BMR will submit your article to various RSS Feeds and Bookmarking sites so that the chances of it getting indexed is high although still there is no guarantee that SEs will count all your links. And because your articles are unique, and because BMR owns the entire websites in their network, your links will stay permanent (hopefully with SEs as well) and will have better results in the long run. We really can’t tell how SEs will judge your links or whether they will count links from private blog networks, spun articles or not.

I am not an SEO expert, which is my disclaimer here but if you really want to have the rank that you need then go with BMR. Although it is costly and time consuming if you are going to outsource or write your articles but the results are great. Keep in mind that SEs are looking how natural your links are (blog post, article directories, Web 2.0, blog commenting, forum links, etc.) so UAW is a good way to diversify it.

Thanks linky for taking your time. I'm a member of BMR and the results have been excellent. The only drawback with BMR is that it requires a lot of effort for you to personally write the blurbs or dig deeper into your and outsource them.

In fact I'm researching on how I can diversify my links and I have found your hub and response to my question very enlightening in deed.

Cheers,

Suede.

This is a very solid, fair review Linky. Thanks. I too have used both UAW and BMR pretty extensively, and have found both to be effective (although, imho UAW was far more effective before Panda than it is today).

At this point, I get better results from BMR, but it is more labor intensive because of their policy of no spun content. I have never used AMR, but I'm planning to experiment with it soon. I'm hoping that if will replace UAW in my arsenal.

Thanks again for the great write-up!
